What gluten-free means in our kitchen

Every recipe on our weekly menu is gluten-free, and also dairy-free, seed-oil-free, and refined-sugar-free, made with organic ingredients and no artificial additives. The full ingredient list sits on every dish.

We cook in batches in one shared kitchen, so we do not promise against cross-contact. If a trace of gluten is a serious risk for you, email support@saltandsoilsd.com before you order and we will talk you through how the kitchen runs. For complex or high-risk needs, our Private Chef service builds a menu around your list.

What arrives each Tuesday

A new menu goes live every Sunday, and every entrée on it comes in an animal protein version and a vegan version, with breakfasts, desserts, and add-ons rotating alongside. We cook on Monday, deliver Tuesday between 9 AM and 4 PM, and nobody needs to be home. Nothing is frozen, and nothing travels farther than San Diego.

Question about gluten-free delivery

Is all Salt + Soil food gluten-free?

Yes. Every recipe on our weekly menu is gluten-free, and also dairy-free, seed-oil-free, and refined-sugar-free, made with organic ingredients and no artificial additives. The full ingredient list sits on every dish.

Is your kitchen safe for celiac disease?

We cook in batches in one shared kitchen, so we do not promise against cross-contact. If a trace of gluten is a serious risk for you, email support@saltandsoilsd.com before you order and we will talk you through how the kitchen runs. For complex or high-risk needs, our Private Chef service builds a menu around your list.

Are the meals grain-free?

No. The meals are gluten-free but not grain-free, so most plates pair the protein and vegetables with a starch or grain. Check the ingredient list on each dish if you avoid grains.
